Children's play city in Riesa: Neuland relies on creative democracy!
Volksgut 1, 01589 Riesa, Deutschland - It will be exciting in Riesa this summer! From July 28 to August 1, the “Children's Spielstadt” series of events takes place, which is now taken over by the Sprüfbrett e.V. Under the motto "New territory - children in power!" Children between 8 and 13 years of age are allowed to actively participate and use the opportunity to design their own ideas and projects. This initiative aims to combine democracy, creativity and practical learning. According to diesachsen.de, the event will take place at the Göhlis project and adventure estate in Volksgutstraße 1.
The event promises a colorful program with many highlights. Up to 40 children can take part in workshops in the areas of craft, art, media and ecological topics as "citizens" of new territory. An exciting mix of sporting mini competitions, creative offers and adventures in nature awaits the participants. Young film and photo reporters will document the experiences to capture the creative processes.
insights into democracy
A newly introduced element will be the daily choice of city councils through a lottery procedure. In addition, creative discussion rounds are on the program, which offer children space for discussions and exchange. This corresponds to the idea that democracy has to be learned and lived-an approach that Civis Democracy Game underlines. The game aims to actively participate in the participation of democracy and has already been implemented with enthusiasm in schools.
The management of the children's play city lies in the hands of experienced volunteers and specialists who not only want to look after the children, but also want to strengthen their social skills, self -confidence and sense of responsibility. For all the exciting offers, the participation contribution is 50 euros per person. Registrations are now possible at the e-mail Spielstadt@sprungbrett-riesa.de.
support democracy formation
The importance of strong democracy education becomes increasingly clear in this context. The [German Children's and Youth Foundation (DKJS)] (https://www.dkjs.de/publika/cooperative democracy education-fuer-junge-menschen/) sees a cooperative democracy formation to actively involve young people in the democratic process. For this purpose, qualitative criteria were developed that aim to strengthen both schools and extracurricular education. The offer includes consultations, workshops and the development of materials in order to make democratic processes understandable and tangible.
If you want to make your voice hearing and actively participate in this unique project, do not hesitate and register your child! Riesa will be a place of creativity, learning and democracy with the children's play city.
