A truly captivating event awaits model railway lovers in Meißen! From November 8, 2025, an impressive model railway exhibition will take place in the ICM, located at Ossietzkystraße 37a, on the 1st floor. This is organized by the IG Modellbahn Meißen association and is a real highlight with a replica of the historic car repair shop on Bahnhofstrasse. The shell of this workshop was manufactured in painstaking detail using a 3D printer. Sächsische.de reports that the H0 layout not only includes trains, but also shows buses, trucks and the characteristic Meissen tram. Younger guests will be particularly pleased, as the exhibition offers two smaller self-control systems.
But that's not all! Visitors also have the opportunity to get creative themselves: There are various craft options that appeal to young and old. Opening times are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends of November 8th and 9th and on the following Saturdays and Sundays (November 15th / 16th / 19th / 22nd / 23rd). This makes it easy to plan a visit and let yourself be carried away into the fascinating world of model trains.

Children only have to pay 1.50 euros and adults 4 euros to enter. This is a small reward for a great experience that will attract many families.
