Craft training is flourishing in East Saxony! By the end of October 2023, 2,282 young people were able to look forward to a new apprenticeship contract. Compared to the previous year, this represents an increase of around 6%, which underlines the dynamic development on the training market in the region. According to diesachsen.de, this is the strongest October in ten years. What is particularly noteworthy is that 500 women and 1,782 men took the step into a skilled trades career.
The numbers in the Chemnitz Chamber of Crafts district are also impressive: over 2,400 new training positions were awarded in the east and south of Saxony. 1,374 young people began their training here, including 271 women and 797 men in the district of the Dresden Chamber of Crafts, as generalebauzeitung.de reports.
