Two injured after accident in Riesa: BMW and Renault collide!
The situation in the Meißen district remains turbulent, as current reports show. Loud Sächsische.de A traffic accident was reported in Riesa on Monday, September 22nd, 2025. There was a collision between a BMW X1 and a Renault Clio on Großehainer Straße. Fortunately, the two drivers, a 51-year-old and a 21-year-old, only sustained minor injuries. Information about the property damage caused is currently not available.
But that wasn't the only incident in the region. In a previous report by Meissen-heute.de It was learned that on July 29, 2025, several traffic accidents in Radebeul had created a serious situation. In particular, a serious accident on the B 165 in the morning caused massive traffic disruptions as several vehicles were blocked. Police and fire departments worked throughout the day to bring the situation under control.
Violent crimes and missing person reports
A serious violent crime was also reported in Riesa, in which a 32-year-old man was seriously injured. The police are looking for witnesses to shed light on the matter. There is also worrying news in Meißen: A 25-year-old man has been missing since the morning of July 29, 2025. Family and friends are asking the public for help. The police were able to collect initial information, but unfortunately without success as no trace of the missing person has been found yet.
