In the tranquil city of Hartha, criminals have made a threeth business with diesel fuel between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. As the Freie Presse reported the thieves over 900 liters from two trucks on Waldheimer Strasse. The estimated value of the stolen fuel amounts to more than 1,450 euros, which is not a small amount in view of the current prices.

A brave employee stood in the way of the suspect, but was pushed aside. The man was able to escape with several cigarette boxes worth around 190 euros. His description? The perpetrators who put their hands on the fuel in Hartha were not squeamish. They violently opened the driver's cab of a truck and, in addition to the diesel, also stole a navigation device and a tablet that together had a value of around 1,200 euros. In a somewhat further away incident in Döbeln, a truck driver found that the tanks of his vehicle had also been broken up for him.
