Freiberg's athletes shine at U16 DM-best performances for Nils and Finley!
What's new from the world of athletics? The German Youth Championships in Ulm ensured that the best talents in the country met. Last weekend, the athletes won exciting competitions, in which numerous best performances were achieved. Among them were the two promising young athletes Nils Wagner and Finley Max Wolf, who started for TVL Freiberg.
The two talents celebrated a very special experience at their first German championships. Nils Wagner and Finley Max Wolf not only could set up personal bests, but also made it to the final one of the two athletes. The anticipation was great, and coach Sylvio Christ was enthusiastic about the appearance of his protégés. The two had qualified with strong performance for the German Youth Championship of the U16, which has been held since 2014 and offers the athletes under the age of 16 a platform to measure themselves.
