What does November 10th bring for the region around Cologne? An exciting mix of sporting activities and social engagement is on the program. Especially that 24-hour swimming in Eilenburg promises a special highlight. From 12 p.m. swimmers can jump into the water for a good cause. This event has been held annually since 2008 and is growing in popularity. Donations are made for each lap swum, although donations are voluntary from the hundredth lap onwards. The proceeds go to the “my swimming pool plus” project, which is intended to increase the attractiveness of the swimming pool.
But that's not all. In Delitzsch From today to Thursday, daily shooting exercises will take place at the Army NCO School's on-site training area. The practice times are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with safety being a top priority: barriers and red flags must be observed and the instructions of security personnel must be strictly followed.

And while the soldiers in Delitzsch are doing their training, they are collecting... Bad Düben Donations for the German War Graves Commission. An important concern that will also be honored at the upcoming Memorial Day commemoration on Sunday at 11.30 a.m. in the Kurpark. Here people can come together and express their solidarity.
