A serious traffic accident caused a stir on Sunday evening, November 3rd, 2025, at Schkeuditzer Kreuz. At around 11 p.m., the driver of a Mitsubishi wanted to drive from the A9 onto the A14 and collided with a Ford in front. The impact caused the Mitsubishi to leave the road, overturn and land in the bushes. The 22-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi suffered injuries and received immediate medical attention. The Schkeuditz fire department secured the scene of the accident and tied up any leaking supplies, while the material damage is estimated at around 18,000 euros. Tragically, the driver of a pickup truck died at the scene of the accident after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with another car. Two cars overturned and ended up on their roofs. In this context, MDR confirms that the police and experts are also investigating the circumstances of the accident here and that the A14 in the direction of Magdeburg remains closed. A crisis intervention team was also deployed at the scene of the accident to assist those affected.
