Dispute over wind turbines: Civil rights on statement is running!

Dispute over wind turbines: Civil rights on statement is running!

In the Oschatz region, there could be a lot of things about wind power in the coming years. The regional plan for Leipzig-West Saxony, current design and hotly discussed topic, could ensure that the number of wind turbines increases significantly. The then draft, which was released in early May, shows some planned locations for wind ranking areas that come across mixed reactions.

Especially in the districts of Haida and Limbach there is a resistance to the construction of four wind turbines near Lampersdorf, the lvz . The intended locations for wind power areas are not yet known to the population. There are some reason to worry. There are increased concerns because there is only a small number of wind turbines in the region.

planned wind power surfaces

A look at the planned areas shows that significantly more space for wind power should be created:

citizens have until 11. July The opportunity to give statements about the locations. The feedback will be weighed up by 2026, whereby another participation procedure could be necessary. The goal is to complete the partial update to the renewable energies by December 2026 at the latest so that the plan can come into force in the fourth quarter of 2027, as the Saxon State Ministry for the Environment and Agriculture attaches great importance to rapid approval procedures in order to advance the energy transition in Germany. In 2024, for example, 66 wind turbines were already approved, which have an installed nominal output of around 390 megawatts.

Window venue is not just a plan for a few years, but a departure into a sustainable future, in which something will happen at many corners and ends. In the Oschatz region, it remains to be seen how the discussions continue and what decisions are ultimately made. The time for statements will be short, but the commitment of the citizens will be crucial for the future development of the landscape in the region.
