Coach Knuth Müller explains that some players have left the club. This has taken its toll on the Heidenau women, but the club is not giving up. On the contrary: young players from the B youth area should be integrated into the team. The goal? Build a powerful team that can aim to get back into the Saxony League in the future.

However, there is one highlight coming up in August: the21st fortress run in Königstein. On August 8th, over 330 participants will start, vying not only for the finisher medals, but also for the newly introduced placement medals in gold, silver and bronze. The starting signal is given at 6.30 p.m. at the Tourist Information Center in Königstein, while the registration deadline is at 4 p.m. For the little ones there is the mini run over 1.3 kilometers, which also starts at 6:30 p.m. This shows once again how lively sport is in the region.
Not to be forgotten are the running offers for everyone, whether they are running enthusiasts, walkers or Nordic walkers. For the first time there will also be an inclusion run over 1.3 kilometers without scoring - a great sign of integration in sport. There really is something for everyone here.
Women's football in general
The German women's national football team starts the UEFA Women's EURO 2025, which takes place in Switzerland this July, with high expectations. With a strong preliminary round that includes Denmark, Poland and Sweden, Germany will be looking to capitalize on their strategy and talents and potentially reclaim the title they have won several times in the past.
