Jazz across borders: Bad Gottleuba celebrates German-Czech festival!

In a wonderful fusion of music and culture, an impressive jazz event takes place in Bad Gottleuba. A total of six concerts at four different locations in Germany and the Czech Republic are the focus of this year's Jazz Autumn. This cross-border event not only offers a great program, but also ensures that German and Czech musicians can get to know each other and deepen their artist friendships Sächsische.de reported.

The idea for this cross-border, culturally rich festival came from Clemens Deilmann, chairman of the Schubert Association. He has made it his mission to transform Schubert's former café in Gottleuba into a lively meeting place for art and conversation from 2024. During his recent visit to the Kačák restaurant in the Czech Republic, Deilmann was thrilled by the proximity and the ambience and confirmed that the connection between the two countries is not only growing musically.

A varied program

The concerts span several days and offer a varied mix of jazz genres. With three performances at Schuberts and three other locations in the Czech Republic, visitors can expect true musical fireworks. German musicians are taking part in the Czech Republic, while their Czech colleagues are presenting their skills in Bad Gottleuba. The shuttle service from Pirna to Jilove ensures that guests can easily get to the concerts Sächsische.de further reported.

Rüdiger Kubsch from the Elbe/Labe Euroregion actively helped to find suitable musical locations in the Czech Republic to enrich the cultural experience for all participants. Such initiatives not only promote artistic collaboration, but also contribute to the awareness of Schubert and Gottleuba as cultural hotspots.
