Climbing in Saxon Switzerland: adventure despite storms!

Sebnitz, Deutschland - Saxon Switzerland has now turned out to be a true adventure park for climbing enthusiasts. Despite the initial severe weather warnings with rain and lightning, the climbing school finally gave the green light. A call confirmed that the weather would soon improve and that the anticipation rose to the climbing course. The goal was the small stone, the second largest rock gate in the region, where the climbers were able to prepare for an unforgettable experience.

The right equipment is the be -all and end -all when climbing. Control of the climbing shoes is therefore mandatory - you have to sit crunchy! Steffen Michel, an experienced teacher at the age of 27, ensured security and motivation. After a 15-minute walk, the participants in the Kleinstein cave approached to start the adventure ready.

As part of this course, an exciting route called "Neue Weg" was tried out, which stretched over 30 meters and was in the level of difficulty at 2 out of 22. The professor of security measures left no room for uncertainties: each belt was thoroughly checked and the teacher made sure that all climbers were safe in the belt. The inclination of the rock made climbing significantly easier and gave the participants the opportunity to overcome their fear of heights.

In order to officially "make" the summit, each participant had to make entries in the summit book. A special highlight was the abseiling at a depth of 19 meters, in which the technology "like a camel" was created. The feeling of this challenge was like the feeling of return after a short short vacation in nature.

For interested parties who have now only wanted to have a similarly exciting experience: The climbing courses in Saxon Switzerland are aimed at climbers with previous knowledge. The offer knows no boredom for an appropriate price-performance ratio of € 185.00 per person for two participants and € 350.00 for individual leadership. According to the Saxon tradition, climbers learn the technique of free climbing, in which ropes and security means only serve to secure, not for transportation.

The courses also include content on node science, self-confidence, abseiling technology as well as information about the cultural background of the clamping in the region. On a typical price morning you start in Bad Schandau at 9:00 a.m. and then climb the most beautiful sandstone summits in the team.

After about an hour and a half full of climbing friends, amazement and necessary waiting, each participant was richer and felt recovered - as if he had treated himself to a short vacation.
