At around 4:30 p.m., a 51-year-old wanted to overtake several vehicles when everything went wrong. The driver, who was driving a VW Tiguan, collided while swerving with a VW Touran, whose 19-year-old driver was also in an overtaking maneuver. The collision caused the young driver to lose control of his car and veer off the road.
After hitting the other vehicle, his car subsequently crashed into five parked vehicles, including a Skoda, Mitsubishi, Seat, Toyota and two Fords. The seat was even pressed against a lantern. Finally the VW Touran came to a stop against a house wall. A total of eight cars were damaged, resulting in significant property damage of over 200,000 euros. The 19-year-old only suffered minor injuries, while the road was temporarily closed for over five hours to recover the vehicles and record the accident. The road was finally reopened around 9:50 p.m., as reported by tag24.de.
