This means that a property is being acquired that was previously owned by the Wilhelm Oberle Foundation near Freiburg and was only used by Sebnitz on the basis of a ground lease agreement that runs until 2041. But what exactly is behind this purchase?
The Solivital, which offers a total area of over 3,000 m², is not just a place for those who enjoy exercise. It houses five exciting theme worlds: fitness, climbing, bowling, soccer and a children's tobeland. Families and active people will find a wide range of options here to stay fit and have fun. Especially those Fitness and health world with a 400 m² training center enables individual training with various equipment. The climbing hall offers a variety of routes for different levels of difficulty, and the children's Tobeland impresses with a climbing labyrinth and a huge ball pit.
Future-oriented decision
The purchase price of the Solivital exceeds the lease costs for the next 15 years, but Mayor Ronald Kretzschmar sees this as an investment in the future. He emphasizes that the city's intention is primarily to maintain the tourist offer and to offer the citizens of Sebnitz and the surrounding area attractive leisure activities. This decision is in line with the objectives of the Institute for Municipal Sports Development Planning (INSPO), which specializes in the development of pioneering and sustainable sports infrastructure.
