On Friday, August 22, 2025, a special event will take place in the picturesque MuldeParadies: barbecue brings people together. From around 5 p.m. everyone, regardless of origin, age or gender, is invited to come together and spend a relaxing evening. The city of Zwickau emphasizes that grilling is not just about delicious grilling, but also about conversations and intercultural exchange.
The grill and charcoal are already prepared, so participants only need to bring their own food and drinks. If you want to see yourself at the helm inside, you can also bring your picnic blanket or a camping chair. Those with musical talent are invited to transport instruments to make the atmosphere even more lively.
Games and activities for everyone
It will also be sporty, as outdoor games such as badminton and frisbee await good competition. Board games are also available to help you spend the evening in good company. Important to know: Glass bottles and strong alcoholic drinks are not allowed. The event will end at 9 p.m. and no prior registration is required - just come along and enjoy!
In the event that the weather does not cooperate, the city has announced that the event will be canceled if it rains. There will be another barbecue opportunity on Saturday, September 13th, in the Nico-Kiez, Nicolaistrasse 21, at the “Inneryard Moments”.

But the barbecue in Zwickau is not the only highlight. An international barbecue festival will also take place in Deggendorf on Sunday, June 30th. From 1 p.m., numerous clubs will come together on the Danube promenade near the wheelhouse to promote the goal of “connecting global citizens”. Diversity Deggendorf reports that a variety of activities are planned, including singing and dancing shows and workshops.
In Frankfurt, on the other hand, there is a diverse calendar of events with concerts, cultural festivals and traditional markets.
