But you should not only be careful in town, but also outside town. The penalties here are similar, but often slightly milder. For example, you have to put a little more money on the table if you exceed the speed limit by 21-25 km/h: 70 euros are due, while if you exceed 61-70 km/h you can already have 480 euros and a two-month driving ban on your account. Speeding is more than just a small presumption of innocence in traffic. They not only lead to fines, but also to points and, in the worst case, driving bans.
