In just a week, the motorsport world will turn its attention to Mülsen, because fromJuly 17th to 20th, 2025The final event of the 2025 European Karting Championship will take place here. With this event enters the Arena E, which opened in 2019, is the international stage for karting events for the first time. The track is considered the most modern of its kind in Germany and will be the venue for the best kart drivers in the world.
The anticipation is great: three local drivers have prepared intensively for the event and hope to do well in this top-class competition. This has already been preceded by the preparatory race “Road to Mülsen”, which took place fromJuly 4th to 6thtook place and gave the drivers the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the route. The organizers expect up to200 startersin various classes, including the premier class KZ and KZ2, making the event only surpassed by the World Karting Championship.
First international highlight
How zeitsprungland.de reports, the European Kart Championship is an important step not only for the drivers, but also for the region. Managing director Roberto Urlaß from Motorsportarena Mülsen GmbH is proud of the successful application to the FIA and the CIK. “We are happy that we were able to bring this international competition to Germany,” said Urlaß.
With the Kart European Championship, the event in Mülsen will be the first international prestigious event in Arena E. The sporting highlights attract both local and international motorsport enthusiasts, who should not miss the other events in Arena E in 2025: In addition to the European Kart Championship, the German Kart Championship (DKM) will take place onMay 31st and June 1stas well as the East German ADAC Kart Cup (OAKC) will take place on several dates.

West Saxony will become a hotspot for motorsport fans in July. The preparation race is followed by the Motorcycle Grand Prix at the Sachsenring a week later, before the Kart European Championships round off this exciting month. On these weekends, Arena E will not only attract the best drivers, but also numerous spectators who can look forward to exciting races.
