Preparations are in full swing for the new Best Western Hotel Altenburger Land, which will open its doors on November 15, 2025. First insights into the hotel were given as part of the “JOB CHANCE ALTENBURG” trade fair. The operators, Habitels Hospitality Management & Services GmbH from Berlin, have big plans for the Altenburg region. Not only is a new accommodation offering being created here, but the local tourism offering is also being strengthened.

When it opens, the hotel will offer 144 comfortable rooms with an attractive design that has local references to Altenburg. Playing cards and games can be found as design elements in the rooms. This promises a unique ambience, which may also allude to the future “gaming room”, which is intended for board games and card games. Happy guests can also look forward to a lobby bar and a sauna area.

Hotel operation details

A highlight of the new offering is the banquet and meeting space for up to 80 people. Here the hotel is particularly attuned to the needs of business guests who work in the MICE sector (meetings, incentives, conferences, events).
