Shortly after the weekend, several incidents of violence and threats have become known in the Altenburg region. A 19-year-old was threatened with a knife by an approximately 25-year-old perpetrator, who presumably made himself noticeable in Arabic nearby. Also on Tuesday evening, between 8:40 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., there was another conflict near the Schmöllner Brauereeich. A 46-year-old who threatened passers-by with a baseball bat came into conflict with two men aged 29 and 42. Police officers were quickly on site, were able to identify all participants and initiated an investigation into dangerous bodily harm and threat to them.
