There will be a lot going on in Eichsfeld next weekend! Several events invite people to celebrate, get creative and enjoy the region. Whether music lovers, families or classic car fans – there is something for everyone.
A highlight will be the “I love Malle” party in the Vitalpark in Heiligenstadt. This open-air event, which takes place on Saturday, July 12th, brings together artists such as Mickie Krause, Lorenz Büffel and Julian Sommer under the motto that will put a smile on the face of every Mallorca fan. The event is a fusion of the popular formats “Vitalpark Open Air” and “SoundGarten Open Air” and aims to create new organizational and economic synergies, as Mayor Thomas Spielmann reveals. A park & ride system ensures that the journey is relaxed and unproblematic. The event starts at 3:45 p.m. and tickets are available in advance and at the door. VIP tickets are also available so everyone can enjoy a great show! Thueringer-Allgemeine.de reports that the best atmosphere is guaranteed for an entry fee of 34.95 euros!
Variety of activities
But that's not enough! The classic car meeting will take place in Freienhagen on the same weekend. From July 11th to 13th, vintage cars, tractors, mopeds and even American cars will gather on the site of the former border company. For everyone who loves the wide tires and the nostalgic flair, this is the perfect opportunity to admire old treasures. Registration is not necessary and there are numerous attractions for younger visitors. Goettinger-Tageblatt.de points out that entry is also free - so why not just stop by and be amazed?
Don't forget the charity campaign in Uder on Sunday, July 13th. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can expect musical performances from the Dünmusikanten, children's activities and an auction of works of art to benefit a mother suffering from cancer. A moving and important event that brings the community together.

The bear will also be dancing at the sports festival in Kefferhausen from Friday. Highlights of the weekend include the Edelweiss Cup and the Bambini tournament. The finale with the “Blechbuben” takes place on Sunday – a must for all music lovers!
Nature lovers also have the opportunity to explore the beaver tracks on the border river on a guided hike in Wahlhausen on Sunday. Meeting point is at 1:30 p.m. at Margareten Church.
The island of cosiness will be the flea market at the Großtöpfer estate on Saturday, July 12th. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., bargain hunters can stroll through the stalls and fortify themselves with coffee and cake. And a fair is also celebrated in Geisleden – with dance evenings and morning pints. Even the horse pilgrimage in Etzelsbach on Sunday at 10 a.m. invites you to bless the horses - a wonderful tradition that keeps the region alive. And remember, the daylily festival in the Rosenpark Reinhausen on Sunday is also worth a visit, with over 300 varieties of these magnificent flowers.
