Goalkeeper Jakob Pieles has also signaled that he wants to stay at VFC, which is an important decision for the club.

Adding young, hungry talent also plays a crucial role in Gören's concept. Three players from the A-youth are to be integrated into the men's team. The search for mentally strong and responsible players has already begun. In his studies on coaching changes, sports scientist Sebastian Zart has shown that new impulses can often lead to short-term increases in performance, which could be an advantage for Plauen.
