Eisfelder Summer Concerts 2025: A musical festival for everyone!
From July 4th to 12th, 2025, the picturesque Eisfeld region will once again become a venue for musical highlights. The Eisfeld summer concerts start with the motto “In Dialogue” and offer a colorful program for everyone interested in culture. Over a total of nine days, the region will be enriched with classical sounds, literary discoveries and creative formats. This event has established itself as a real crowd puller over the years.
The opening concert will take place on July 2nd in the Trinity Church in Eisfeld, where the Erfurt Air Force Music Corps will sing the first notes of the festival. Things really get going on July 4th: the early music ensemble Filum and a festival choir present cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach – a feast for the ears of classical-loving listeners!
Diverse events
The summer concerts not only offer classical concerts, but also numerous other events. These include musical evening walks, a creative bike tour called “Sounding Villages” and spontaneous concerts in special locations. A highlight will be the musical reading with the well-known actor Thomas Thieme in the Veßra Monastery, which will cover thoughtful topics such as “War and Peace”.
Admission is free for young visitors and young people - a fair concept that aims to make culture accessible to everyone. Adults can either purchase regular tickets or choose the “pay what you can” model, giving everyone the opportunity to participate in this cultural enrichment. This underlines the idea of shared experience and participation.
Special formats and concert highlights
A new feature this year is the traveling cinema with an open-air performance at the Itzquelle, which will provide additional flair. The festival also offers the opportunity to take part in the festival choir, where amateur singers and professional musicians immerse themselves in the world of music. Registration for this is already open, which gives all music enthusiasts the chance to actively participate in the festival.
The grand finale will take place on July 12th at the Itzquelle in Stelzen, where the Ensemble Filum will present a musical blind date that will round off the entire week in a wonderful way. In addition to the purely musical offerings, a literary evening in the castle and a cinema evening with live music also provide plenty of variety and entertainment.
The full program and the option to order tickets and sign up for a newsletter will soon be available on the official website, where those interested can keep up to date with news and events such as eisfeldersommerkonzerte.de reported.
