A particularly remarkable operation by the fire brigade has recently caused a stir in Schleusingen. The volunteer fire department had to save a family of swans that was in an emergency situation. During the rescue operation there were temporary traffic disruptions on Königstrasse and Suhler Strasse, but the welfare of the animals was clearly the priority.
