The event begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. and it offers an excellent opportunity to experience the world of computer science up close.
The workshop extends over various informative and practical areas. The participants are introduced to the basic features of computer science. This includes practical experiments and applications to get to know the activities of computer scientists. The content of the workshop covers modern topics, including visible computer science, such as computer games and web applications, as well as embedded systems in vehicles and medical technology.

The planned activities include the construction of a circuit for recording cardiac tones with a cell phone and learning the functionality of autonomous vehicles. Furthermore, internet logistics are treated in parcel delivery, and the participants can deal with big data. Another highlight is the introduction to the data forwarding on the Internet, in which it is examined how data packages are transported via different ways between end systems.The workshop participants do not need any special equipment, but only a head and a pen to write. The distance vector algorithm is also explained in order to illustrate the various procedures for data transmission. The event is aimed at a maximum of 20 participants to ensure individual support. This limitation makes an early registration advisable.
