In the Cyriaci chapel in Nordhausen, it was once again musical. The pupils of the Kreismusikschule Nordhausen delighted the audience with two impressive concerts. The first concert, staged as a pillow concert, put the talents of the young musicians in the spotlight. Subsequently, older students showed their skills, among which award winners of the “youth music” competition were also found.
The program was a varied mix: from classic melodies to rock sounds, there was something for every taste. The variety of performances that framed instruments such as accordion and flute om emphatic vocals showed the great musical potential of the students. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, Manuela Hardt from Triga Immobilien presented a generous donation of 3000 euros to the association of the district music school. These funds are a valuable contribution to supporting the students to organize rehearsal trips and buy special instruments.
The support association in action
The Association of Friends and Sponsors of the Kreismusikschule Nordhausen e.V. For over 20 years, the district music school has been supporting both ideally and materially. Thanks to the close cooperation with the school management and the college, the association is committed to ensuring that students are optimally promoted. This includes not only the purchase of musical instruments and grades, but also the annual organization of a large art festival in cooperation with the youth art school in Nordhausen.
