In an extremely worrying incident, a 19-year-old woman was locked in a wooden box, which brought the police and the Erfurt public prosecutor's office to the scene. Cries for help led officers to her location, where she was discovered in a barn on a property in Vogelsberg, Sömmerda district. The incident occurred after the young woman was reported missing in July. Given her addiction to essential medication, police immediately launched an intensive search to find her.
