Amigos on a big anniversary tour: concerts in Weimar and Magdeburg!
The popular hit duo Die Amigos, consisting of the brothers Bernd and Karl-Heinz Ulrich, is embarking on a new tour and is causing a lot of anticipation among the fans. Under the title “The Amigos – Live Concert” there are numerous performances scheduled throughout Germany, which are already planned for 2025 and 2026. How News.de reported, the brothers will give their first concert on November 8th, 2025 in the Weimarhalle in Weimar, followed by an anniversary concert in Magdeburg on November 21st, 2025.
The tour extends until 2026. In the following months, a number of other concerts will take place in cities such as Leinefelde, Baunatal and Cottbus. A special highlight is the Mother's Day concert on May 10, 2026 in Suhl. Tickets for the concerts are already available at prices between 52 and 76 euros through well-known advance booking offices, although the tickets are in high demand and could sell out quickly.
Successful career of the Amigos
But what makes the Amigos so special? They are the most successful hit duo in Europe and can look back on an illustrious career spanning over 55 years. They took their first steps at small village concerts, but their big breakthrough came in 2006 with their appearance on the MDR show “Achims Hitparade”. Their studio album “Der helle madness” from 2007 shot straight to number 1 in the German album charts and consolidated their status as pop stars. This raises, among other things adticket.de out.
Another milestone was winning the ECHO in 2011, and the Amigos have since been honored with over 100 gold and platinum awards. With albums like “Santiago Blue” (2015) and “Freiheit” (2021) as well as the latest work “Atlantis will live” (2023), they have been able to steadily increase their fan base.
The hit boom in Germany
The popularity of German hits is not only reflected in the success of the Amigos. According to a current survey by the IfD Allensbach, prepared by Statista, Schlager is very popular with people in Germany and doesn't seem to be experiencing any decline. Many fans appreciate the soulful lyrics and catchy melodies that have made the hit a true folk genre.
With their new tour, the Amigos are setting another example in the German music landscape and inviting their fans to be there live when the melodies invite you to sing along and celebrate. And that in itself is a reason to be happy!
