Something is happening at the Suhl Adult Education Center (VHS)! From November 2025, Hammadi Agrebi will take the stage and teach three languages: Arabic, Italian and French. In doing so, he not only opens a new chapter in the VHS's language program, but also brings a breath of fresh air into the region's linguistic landscape. Wiebke Heber, one of the responsible employees at the VHS, has already spoken positively about Agrebi's commitment, and it will be interesting to see how he will design the courses. Anyone interested can register now for the new series of courses and improve their language skills or simply prepare for their next vacation.
But what exactly can participants expect? Agrebi will teach the languages without knowledge of German, which could be an exciting challenge. So let's get straight into the nitty-gritty! For those who are not sure where they fit in, the VHS Suhl also offers the opportunity to test their language skills. The associated test, which is based on the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), can be found at www.sprachtest.de. This test defines six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.
