The accident occurred on Wednesday morning and the exact cause remains unclear, reports NP Coburg. While the driver was trapped in the cab, the emergency services managed to free him. The driver suffered at least minor injuries while cleanup efforts are still underway. Traffic in the direction of Suhl is currently suspended.

A 36-year-old driver was traveling towards Bamberg when he left the road due to a punctured tire and crashed into the outside guardrail.
