The association now reported the deregistration of its second men's team, which was most recently active in the 1st district class. This decision came after the failed attempt to form a syndicate with the 1st Suhler SV in the men's area. Department head Bernd Hofmann confirmed the deregistration on June 14, 2025, and the whole thing took place on the edge of the women's district cup final. Here the SG Dietzhausen/Kühndorf had to surrender 2: 7 against the runner -up Fischbach with 2: 7. An unfortunate coincidence that underlined the sad news of the cancellation again.

But not everything is negative in Dietzhausen. The SV is celebrating its 140th birthday these days and plans to intensify future cooperation with the football women.
