VfB Suhl got off to an impressive start to the season against Skurios Volleys Borken on October 12, 2025. In the Skurios' first game in the Women's Volleyball Bundesliga The team from Suhl won 3-0. The encounter took place in Borken and the set results were clear: 25:17, 25:18 and 25:21.

VfB Suhl, who finished third last season, were considered favorites. With a strong performance, they showed that they have their sights on the title this season and that they do not underestimate the up-and-coming volleys from Borken.
