Full closure and library closure: Eisenach suffers from construction sites!

A lot is happening in Eisenach: From Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the K 98, also known as the "Alte Salzunger Straße", will be fully blocked for the renovation. These measures are planned until Friday, August 8, 2025. The reason for the full closure is comprehensive road renovation work that has proven to be necessary to improve the condition of the street. For trucks, a redirection is set up via the B 62, Barchfeld, L 1023, Möhra, Oberrohn and quarry and back. Cars, on the other hand, can avoid Bad Salzungen to Gräfen-Nitzendorf and vice versa.
