In the Wartburg district region, there is reason to be happy: Almost 5,000 elementary school students can look forward to a preventive homework book, which should not only help you with learning but also with personal development. This initiative is the result of collaboration between specialists from various areas of prevention, which once more shows how important the extensive promotion of children is. As wartburgkreis.de was designed and offers numerous thematic added sites that are at the different reading skills of the children orientate.

The creative booklet covers a wide range of topics - including bullying, children's rights, friendship and environmental protection. But practical parts, such as a birthday calendar and space for friends, are also included. An exciting insight into the sign language and welcome greetings in different languages complete the offer. The first copies were made by District Administrator Dr. Michael Brodführer ceremoniously handed over to students from the Dermmbach primary school.

A particularly joyful event recently took place at the Förtha primary school, where district member Martin Rosenstengel handed over the first issues to class representatives. At this festive event, the children sang a song, which underlined the positive mood. This year, too, the booklets were introduced in two variants for classes 1-2 and 3-4, such as rhokanal.de noted.

The idea for this project was already created in 2021 as part of the childhood specialist group, which is part of the prevention of the Wartburg district. This group is made up of school social workers, educators, family consultants and other experts who strongly campaign for the security and well -being of the children.
