On the occasion of August von Kotzebue's 264th birthday, a literary walk is held, which is under the motto "In the footsteps of August von Kotzebue". It starts at 2 p.m. in the courtyard of the Haab study center. The walk takes about 90 minutes and leads to important stations from Kotzebue's childhood and youth in Weimar, such as the yellow castle, the old riding hall and the Musäushaus.
