Revolution in education: redesign of learning rooms in Weimar!
As part of the annual conference on the topics of learning rooms and their design, there will be an exciting meeting at the Bauhaus University in Weimar this year. Under the joint title "Spacing-Learning between rooms", two important events run from September 24th to 26th: the learning room. These activity options are fundamentally devoted to the potential influences of interior design on the learning process.
The annual conference comprises two Calls for Participation in which participants are invited to submit contributions. The first call is intended for the learning room. Space counts and innovative visions are required here. Presentation formats range from visualizations to models to short essays. All submitted contributions are presented in an accompanying exhibition, such as Uni-erfurt.de
focus of the conferences
The ETEACH annual conference is dedicated to the digitally supported change in flexible learning and apprenticeships. It comprises four central tracks: the integration of artificial intelligence in learning rooms, innovative exam formats, learning platforms and future skills. The participants have the option of not only introducing their ideas as an impulse or workshop, but also as a topic island or poster. Contributions can be submitted by June 15, 2025.
A special aspect of both events is the aim of creating learning rooms that not only promote learning, but also offer space for encounter, participation and creativity. As part of the Hochschulforums Digitization , more and more emphasis is placed on ecologically and socially sustainable learning environments.
interdisciplinary approaches for sustainable learning rooms
Another crucial point is the work of interdisciplinary groups, such as the ad hoc working group Learning architectures that deal with the future-oriented design of learning rooms. This initiative aims to identify the dimensions of learning space development in the context of digital change and to develop practical implementations for universities. In addition, discussion points and recommendations are being drawn up that are specifically aimed at decision -makers in university management in order to include them in their plans, as executed on Hochschulforumdigitalization.de
Participation in both events is free of charge and can be done both individually and together. In the context of these conferences, an interdisciplinary exchange is promoted and students are integrated and valued as active participants in the development process. The deadline for submitting the contributions ends on June 15, 2025 at www.spacing25.de .
