On Thursday, May 29, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred on federal road 19 in the district of Schwäbisch Hall. At around 2:20 p.m., a 32-year-old motorcyclist collided with a car, with the biker being fatally injured. These dramatic events took place between the villages of Niederndorf and Westheim, where both vehicles caught fire.

The fire brigade was quickly on site and was able to extinguish the flames, but all help came too late for the motorcyclist. The 32-year-old driver and two passengers were only slightly injured in the incident.
