On the evening of October 27, 2025, the city of Frankfurt (Oder) witnessed a violent escalation in a gaming hall on Goethestrasse. At 9 p.m. there was an argument between a 26-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man on one side and a 44-year-old woman on the other. Initially, the attacks were carried out by the 26-year-old and the 41-year-old against the 44-year-old, who was slightly injured but did not require medical assistance Moz.de reported.
The incident took a dramatic turn when three men, aged between 31 and 36, rushed to help. These men felt solidarity with the 44-year-old and in turn attacked the two attackers. The 26-year-old and the 41-year-old then suffered injuries and were treated at the Markendorf Clinic. The criminal police are investigating everyone involved for mutual serious bodily harm.

But that wasn't the only act of violence in the city. In addition, the police are investigating several violent attacks that may be connected to each other. In one of these acts, a 49-year-old man was seriously injured when he was attacked by an unknown person on Luisenstrasse. At around the same time, several perpetrators broke into an apartment on Prager Strasse and injured the 34-year-old tenant. In this case too, the perpetrators managed to escape, reports Tagesspiegel.de.
The investigators found evidence both in the apartment of the 23-year-old suspect, who may have been involved in the second incident, and in further searches. The 49-year-old, whose health was serious, is currently being treated as an inpatient and is suspected of being connected to a previous robbery in an apartment on Prager Strasse. In both cases, the police are investigating a connection between the violent acts.
The situation remains tense on all fronts as investigators work tirelessly to clarify the background to these incidents. There is currently no indication whether weapons were involved and the police are doing everything they can to hold the masterminds accountable.
