A turbulent day in Halle (Saale) and Querfurt caused worrying news. On the afternoon of September 26, 2025, two serious traffic accidents occurred, resulting in both property damage and injuries. Two occupants of the vehicle were seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital immediately. The police have already started investigating the accident.

But another incident also occurred in Querfurt today. At around 9:30 a.m. two cars collided at the junction with the Querfurt federal motorway. One person suffered minor injuries in this collision and was taken to hospital for evaluation. A vehicle that came from the highway and turned onto state road 176 collided with another car that was driving from the direction of Querfurt. This caused one of the cars to overturn. Both vehicles were recovered by towing services while police investigate the accident.
