Customs Academy: Promanticism inspires Augsburg students!

Almost 25 students recently had the opportunity to experience the diverse tasks of the main customs office Augsburg up close. During the internship days, which took place both in the Ingolstadt customs office and the financial control of undeclared work in Lindau, the young people got an insight into the different work of customs. They were allowed to test digital radio devices, search a room for evidence and even handle exercise pepper sprays. "Here the students experience the exciting variety of customs," emphasized Adrian Kube, press spokesman for the main customs office in Augsburg.

For everyone who wants to learn more about a career at customs, there will be a professional information day at the Göggingen customs office in Augsburg on July 19, 2025. Interested parties can register by email by July 7, 2025. The Federal Customs Administration offers a two -year training as a "medium -sized non -technical customs service", as well as a three -year dual bachelor's degree in the "Customs Service of the Confederation". Applications for the 2026 hiring year must be submitted by October 15, 2025 at the latest. Around 50 young people are currently being trained in the main customs office in Augsburg.
