Fraudsters fail in Königstein: Citizens remain steadfast against calls!

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, unscrupulous telephone fraudsters in Königstein tried to deceive citizens through false police calls. The fraudsters stated that burglars were up to mischief in the neighborhood and urged the called to deposit their valuables. But the Königsteiners were not put off and lay down - a total of six advertisements were filed for attempted fraud with the police, but the actual number of calls could be much higher. A clear indication of the police: No authority calls for the collection of valuables on the phone!

Also on Tuesday there was a traffic accident on the state road 3041, in which a 67-year-old woman disregarded the way of another vehicle with her Opel when turning left. The collision with a VW led to a total loss of an estimated 23,000 euros and the driver of the VW, 62 years old, suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.
