E-scooter accident in Vilsendorf: 26-year-old seriously injured!

On Sunday morning, June 8, 2025, there was a dramatic accident in Bielefeld-Vilsendorf: A 26-year-old e-scooter driver fell hard after he was obviously alcoholized. Around 10:45 a.m., a 70-year-old cyclist discovered the unconscious man on the bike path of Vilsendorfer Strasse and immediately alerted the emergency services.

The young man from Münster was initially unappealing, but was later able to tell the police that he could not remember the accident. He admitted that he had consumed alcohol before driving, but denied that this was excessively. After a first aid, the injured person was taken to the hospital, where a blood sample was taken from him. The property damage to his e-scooter amounts to around 200 euros.
