High -motivated students celebrate the best teaching modules of the Fernuni!

Hagen, Deutschland - On June 11, 2025, the teaching awards "Golden Wiwi owl" for the best modules from 2023 and 2024 were awarded at the FernUniversität in Hagen. In this context, students of the university have distinguished the outstanding compulsory and elective modules, based on the results of the annual teaching price surveys, which were evaluated by the Student Council. Student council spokesman Adam Ernst emphasizes the relevance of didactic concepts and practical content that support both the learning of the students and stand for committed support.

The excellent modules include:

prices for good apprenticeship at other universities

The "Golden Wiwi owl" is not the only price for outstanding apprenticeship this year. Special courses were also honored at the Humboldt University in Berlin. For the period 2023 to 2024, Prof. Dr. Max Bruche for the lecture "Financial Intermediation" and Prof. Dr. Stefan Lessmann for the exercise "Business Analytics and Data Science" awards. These prices reward the quality and commitment in teaching and are part of a larger trend for appreciation of didactic services at universities.

In addition, the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg plans to give its teaching prizes in 2025, which are aligned in two directions: "Teaching/learning for and through social commitment" and "Innovative testing". These awards are endowed with the financing of a scientific assistant of up to 4000 euros. The award ceremony will take place on May 27, 2025 as part of the teaching day, where the award winners: inside will present their excellent projects. Nominations for the price are possible until January 31, 2025.
