The deceased, who passed away in Berlin on September 27, 2025, posed as Manfred BINZ between 2021 and 2023. According to the investigation, the man was born on February 22, 1987 in Düsseldorf and claimed to have no permanent address. However, the police have determined that the personal details provided are probably fictitious.

The investigation has shown that the man may also have been active in other federal states, which makes the search for his identity even more difficult.
