On June 23, 2025, this transforms Schöneberg Cultural Center on Kyffhäuserstraße once again turned its inner courtyard into a celebratory festival area. For over 25 years, the former school building has housed studios, an art and music school and the Strahl youth theater. Here the summer festival is the highlight of the year with a colorful program that starts at 2 p.m. The best thing about it: entry is free!
The event offers a variety of activities for the whole family. In addition to musical performances that create a good atmosphere, creative participation activities are also provided for the little guests. These start at 2 p.m., while the “The Flying Notes” choir and guitar music create an inviting atmosphere.
A program for the senses
The program runs throughout the afternoon, with various highlights for all age groups. At 2:30 p.m. Angela Zumpe and Olga Romanschenko will bring the atmosphere to life with their songs by F. Hollaender and the “Seven Deadly Sins” by Brecht/Weill. Also not to be missed is a greeting from Tobias Dollase, District Councilor for Schools, Sports, Further Education and Culture, which will be given at 3:15 p.m.
From 3:30 p.m., visitors can visit open studios where creativity and art are the focus of the day. Musical entertainment will be provided by the duo Wu Wei and Grégoire Simon, as well as “The freewheeling DON SCHLEGEL Experience”, who will perform Americana and folk. The festival culminates at 7 p.m. with a performance by “The Mountain Shouts,” who will get attendees dancing to rockabilly tunes.
A celebration for the entire family
Of course, your physical well-being is also taken care of. Delicious food and drinks invite you to linger while the children can have a lot of fun in special program items from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
