Finowfurt rafting festival 2025: celebrations, dancing and fireworks await you!

The rafting festival in Finowfurt, a well-established highlight in the event calendar of the Schorfheide community, is just around the corner! From July 4th to 6th, 2025, the Finowfurt district will be transformed into a unique festival area that will attract thousands of guests. Known for its diverse program, the festival has been a fixture in the Barnim district since 1996.

On Friday evening, the festival will begin with a grand opening ceremony on Erzbergerplatz. Here the DJs Monoact and Tony play the best from the music world to really heat up the atmosphere. Saturday and Sunday are all about music and numerous activities on stage. From hits to rock to pop and line dance – the musical diversity has something to offer for everyone. On both evenings, the Antenne Party Tour provides momentum and casual rhythms of the 70s and 80s.

A celebration for the whole family

The rafting festival is not just an event for adults. Children can look forward to a colorful program enriched by performances by local actors such as the “Spatzennest” daycare center and the United Dance Family. The stage program is moderated by the popular antenna presenter Tina Knop, who skillfully guides the audience through the festival.

Your physical well-being is also well taken care of. Culinary offerings and fair stalls on Finowfurt's main street invite you to feast. In addition, traditional crafts are presented, while the Finowfurt rafting association presents its raft trips - a real treat for anyone interested!

Timetables and ticket information

Advance ticket sales for the dance and disco evenings will be available from June 3, 2025 to July 1, 2025 at the municipal administration on Erzbergerplatz. The price per evening is a pleasant ten euros. If you're spontaneous, you can also purchase tickets at the box office.

To make your journey easier, we recommend using public transport. The Barnim bus company is increasing its offering, with additional connections between Eberswalde and Finowfurt. The buses run until 1:50 a.m. on Fridays and hourly on Saturdays and Sundays. For everyone who wants to leave on Sunday after the laser show and the impressive fireworks, there is also a return bus that leaves from “Finowfurt, junction” around 11:30 p.m.

Due to limited parking spaces, out-of-town guests are asked to make arrangements to use public transport in good time. In addition, some stops will not be served during the festival, so it is advisable to use the replacement stop “Finowfurt, replacement stop intersection” in front of the medical center.

The festival will culminate on Sunday evening with a traditional duck race, the arrival of the raftsmen, a spectacular laser show and a magnificent fireworks display. So what are you waiting for?
