On July 3, 2025, the time has finally come: The Brandenburg Concert Orchestra Eberswalde will celebrate its 80th anniversary with a big anniversary concert. The festive event will take place at 6:00 p.m. on the market square in Eberswalde. What’s special about it? The orchestra's first public appearance was also on July 3rd - but in 1945 at the same location. The anniversary thus unites the history and future of music in Eberswalde in a highly emotional way. The anniversary concert is entitled “80 Years of the Brandenburg Concert Orchestra Eberswalde” and promises to be a musical celebration. The soloists Carola Reichenbach, Alexandra Broneske and Brendan Sliger will be taking part in impressive performances from opera, operetta, musicals as well as film music and modern pop sounds.
