From September 2025, an exciting new offer awaits the children in Biesenthal: SV Biesenthal 90 e.V. is starting regular table tennis training for children aged 8 to 14. The young athletes meet every Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the old gymnasium, Schützenstraße 43, to learn and enjoy the small, fast game. Coach Thomas Körner will guide the participants and introduce them to the basics of table tennis.
This new training not only promotes enthusiasm for the sport, but also strengthens values such as team spirit and respect in the community. Children learn to support each other while improving their concentration, coordination and endurance. The special thing about it: in addition to the sporting aspect, great importance is also placed on sensible leisure activities that promote the children's health.
