Bicycle-friendliness in Brandenburg an der Havel remains a hot topic. Despite great efforts to improve local conditions, the city only has an overall rating of 4.0 in the current ADFC bicycle climate test, which is classified as “sufficient”. This puts Brandenburg an der Havel in 56th place out of 113 cities nationwide and in second place out of three cities in the state of Brandenburg. The results make it clear that there is still a lot to do if you want to transform the city into a real cycling metropolis.

More than 213,000 participants, including 79 elementary school students from the Brandenburg an der Havel region, cast their votes in the ADFC Bicycle Climate Test 2024.
