Brandenburg an der Havel, Deutschland - The Technical University of Brandenburg (THB) was the scene of a special event on June 27, 2025: The annual award ceremony for the best high school graduates of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel attracted numerous visitors. It was the 21st time that outstanding performance was recognized by high school graduates. The President of the THB, Prof. Dr. Andreas Wilms congratulated the young graduates, emphasizing the long -term tradition of this honor, which has existed for 22 years. "In challenging times, powerful personalities are particularly in demand," emphasized Wilms and also campaigned for studying at the THB.
The event led Prof. Dr. Michael Syrjakow, professor of applied computer science. He also spoke about the great job prospects of the graduates as well as the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence brings. Brandenburg's mayor Steffen Scheller, the patron of the event, praised the excellent achievements of the graduates and pointed out the significant role of ambition and determination.
