Autumn Festival in Brandenburg: Discover regional treasures on September 28th!
On September 28th, 2025 it will be that time again: the 16th. Day of the Regions celebrates in the Krugpark nature conservation center, Brandenburg, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Under the motto “Regional is our strength” the advantages of regional action are brought into the spotlight. Clubs, associations and businesses from agriculture and crafts present their products and services, which represent a good deal of identity and sustainability for the region.
The colorful program promises an experience for the whole family. On the forest stage, visitors can expect entertaining performances from dance groups such as Bacara, as well as organ grinder sounds that invite both young and old to relax. Local talents, including the student band from Luckenberger Elementary School and young artists from the Free Music School, will also give their best. Children get their money's worth with a magical performance by the Lindenberg Marionette Theater and a magician.
Diverse offerings and culinary delicacies
The offering is diverse: In addition to a play and craft street system, the event offers culinary highlights. Visitors can look forward to delicious potato and pumpkin soup, bratwurst, langos, freshly baked cakes and quark balls. This is a special treat Plant swap meet, where hobby gardeners can exchange the plants and seeds they have grown themselves. The prerequisite is that each plant is well labeled and invasive species must also be stopped.
Another highlight is the regional rally with exciting tasks and questions, which not only aims to sharpen knowledge but also the sense of the region. These activities offer a great way to get to know the region better and discover new things.
A role model in the region
Like last year, the event is organized by local actors such as the nature conservation center and the Krugpark Brandenburg e.V. association. V. supports. Such events are an important sign of collaborative work in the region and promote exchange between producers and consumers. The Brandenburg State Hunting Association e.V. will also be present and will show how game meat can be turned into a healthy food through a sustainable hunting concept. Since hunters promote biodiversity and protect habitats, they also make a valuable contribution to regional strengthening.
